In this webinar, we will provide an overview of the fundamental aspects of the Knowledge Discovery tool, explaining how it can be employed to discover new knowledge in the form of relationships or patterns emerging from the analysis of darknet advertisements, with a particular focus on firearms trafficking.

 

Webinar #3: Secure Test Lab: A test platform for research evaluation on security data

In this webinar, we present the secure testing lab developed within the context of the COPKIT project. The platform provides a safe environment for testing and evaluating the COPKIT tools using law enforcement data. It allows researchers to assess the efficiency of their methods and also enables LEAs to evaluate the impact of the proposed techniques.

 

Webinar #4: Extracting information from darknet advertisements

In this webinar, we present different Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to extract structured information, such as named entities, the relations between them, and events, from unstructured dark-net market advertisement texts.

 

Webinar #5: Data analysis and AI methods for situation assessment for Law Enforcement Analysts

In this webinar, we present a number of data analysis methods, information fusion and AI techniques that can support the analyst by providing assessment of information pieces and of risks and threats.

 

Webinar #6: Ethics, privacy and responsibility by design – a collaborative approach

This webinar aims to discuss ethical, legal and societal challenges in research projects focused on security, such as the COPKIT project. We explain how the COPKIT partners apply responsibility, ethics, human rights and privacy by design in the technological solutions in order to ensure that our tools are ethically acceptable and socially desirable.
